This series comprises 13 microfiche of annual conference reports from the American Lutheran Mission in Madagascar. These reports were generated and then sent to the Division of World Missions of The American Lutheran Church (TALC), which oversaw work in Madagascar. These reports are referred to as "blue books" and are from 1960-1965, 1968-1972, and 1974. Reports are missing for 1966-1967 and 1973 and unfortunately there are no corresponding paper records available in either this collection of Madagascar records or those retained later by the Division of World Mission and Inter-Church Cooperation (DWMIC, TALC 16). This series includes the report from the organizing conference held in February 1960, the first annual conference held in August 1960, and subsequent conferences. These reports list deployed missionaries, officers of the conference, officers elected, standing committee and board members, executive committee reports, furlough lists, financial reports, and resolutions. In addition to the positive copies, the archives also has the negatives for this microfiche.
